Penang curry mee is excellent, the first taste of the curry soup base brings back into memory the taste of laksa of the school canteen of the old days. Even the sambal was great as the taste of it made from scratch was there. Lam mee soup base broth was rich but I had to add sambal as the thick yellow noodles somewhat need more flavor. Coffee was thick though not too overpowering. Rojak’s prawn paste was thick with generous amount of freshly pounded peanuts in it although more fried fritters would be a great crispy carbo treat to go with the rich paste! All that came to rm63.90 for our lunch.

I tried the Seafood Special Char Kway Teow with a duck egg, and it was a great experience. The flavors were unlike anything I’d tasted before, rich, smoky, and absolutely delicious. The staff were warm, hospitable, and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend this café to anyone looking to try authentic Malaysian cuisine.

We visited this cafe on a busy Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was packed but luckily we were able to get two seats without waiting. The seats are small and there's not a lot of space between tables. The service was fast, however, in peak hours it was difficult to get the attention of the waiters. We ordered Nasi Lemak with fried chicken, Siamese Lemak Laksa, Sago Gula Melaka, and Lime Juice Sour Plum. The entire bill came to around 62 MYR. Considering the cafe was in the busy Suria KLCC, the price was reasonable. After a whole morning of exploring the city, we were very hungry and we finished the food in minutes. The lime juice was exactly what I needed to combat the heat in KL. The Sago Gula Melaka melted in the mouth and felt very refreshing. It was nice to taste some Penang food in the centre of KL and I came back satisfied.

Still my favourite makan place in KLCC. The food is nice and authentic. And taste great too. My fave is char kuay teow. The best place to try different type of local food in klcc. Oriental Kopi also ok but this don’t have the long queue. And better char kuay teow. Price is reasonable for klcc.

The char kuay teow was good, though the curry mee wasn’t quite to my taste. The other dishes were decent overall. Even though the place gets quite busy, the queue was well managed and the waiting time was reasonable. Seating is rather small and tight, which may not be very comfortable for elderly diners or families with young children. The staff are attentive, but during peak hours it helps to raise your hand to get their attention when placing an order.

Dine at this franchise before at mid valley mall. Now they have closed. Saw it at Atria shopping, so we eat there. 4 adults and 1 children. Ordered 1 char Kueh teow, 2 jawa mee, 1 Hainan chicken chop and 1 fish ball Kueh teow soup. Chicken chop decent Jawa mee ok. Lots of sotong sambal. Kueh teow normal. Fish ball soup was huge portion. Cendul is the best. Red ruby ok but eaten better one. Service was fast. Price ok. RN112.

This is a gem if you live around here. They offer all the Malaysian favorites in one store. I’ve eaten here 3x and they never disappoint. Reasonably priced and very good food. Highly recommend.

I recently had a meal at Little Penang Café and it was a very satisfying experience, especially if you enjoy classic Penang and Malaysian favourites. Their char koay teow is one of the highlights—nicely wok-fried with a good smoky aroma and well-balanced flavours. The Assam laksa was equally enjoyable, with a tangy and slightly spicy broth that tasted authentic and very appetising. I also liked their curry noodles, which had a rich and fragrant curry soup that was comforting and full of flavour. Besides the savoury dishes, they also have a nice variety of sweet and savoury desserts. The fruit rojak was refreshing with a thick, flavourful sauce and crunchy toppings. I also enjoyed the tong sui, which was warm, comforting and not overly sweet—perfect after a hearty meal. For drinks and desserts, there are plenty of choices too. Their ice kacang is a great option on a hot day, nicely shaved and topped with a mix of ingredients. They also serve a good selection of hot and cold beverages, making it a pleasant place to relax and enjoy some local treats. Overall, it’s a good spot in Atria to enjoy familiar Malaysian dishes and traditional desserts in a comfortable setting. A nice place to come with family or friends when you’re craving Penang-style food.

I recently had a meal at Little Penang Café @ Atria and it really satisfied my craving for good Malaysian food. The menu has a wide variety of local favourites, and it feels like a nice place to enjoy familiar Penang-style dishes in a comfortable setting. Their nasi lemak was fragrant and well balanced, with sambal that had just the right mix of sweet and spicy. The char koay teow was another highlight—nicely wok-fried with good aroma and flavour. I also enjoyed the Assam laksa, which had that distinctive tangy and slightly spicy broth that Penang laksa is known for. The curry noodles were rich and comforting, while the Siamese laksa had a lovely creamy and slightly sweet taste that made it very satisfying. After the savoury dishes, we couldn’t resist trying some desserts. The fruit rojak was refreshing with its thick, flavourful sauce and crunchy toppings. They also offer a good selection of sweet local desserts and beverages, which makes it a great place to relax and end the meal. Overall, it’s a nice spot in Atria for anyone craving a variety of classic Malaysian dishes and desserts. The food is tasty, portions are reasonable, and it’s a convenient place to enjoy familiar local flavours with family or friends. I’ll definitely come back to try more items on their menu.

My first time at Atria’s outlet after watching Elmo Lee’s YouTube video channel. I like the fact that their staff is well trained and friendly. The one taking my order had no issue with mee requesting for laksa noodles (lai fun) for my curry mee. He even asked me if I wanted my cendol served during or after my meals without mentioning it. My apologies for not sharing the photos of my curry noodles and cendol before we started eating them. 🤭

Used to love the Char Kuey Teow but this branch disappointed me. The first order came in way too salty, but they exchanged it without question asked. However the second one became tasteless. Even the color looked different between the two. Even though I appreciate the replacement by the manager, but quality of food must be preserved. Hope to visit here again and hopefully it will retain the old Little Penang taste. With that being said. The ice kacang is still very good!

Old classic looking place. No fuss and no frills. Authentic like the old days. Write the code on the paper and someone picks it up. I needed a quick lunch. Went in at 1pm, ordered my Kwey Tau and out by 1.35pm. Loved the noodles. Just right the spiceness and texture. Had a smile as the crab meat was soooo little its a wonder it made it into the menu- the reason I ordered. It just disappeared without being tasted. Will come back again to try the others.

My first time here and I tried their Char Koay Teow. As a Penangite myself, let me tell you that it was really damn good, full of wok hey and very similar to what you’d get at a Penang kopitiam or hawker center. They also serve many other local Penang hawker food such as Hokkien Mee, Assam Laksa, Jawa Mee and Lam Mee. Would definitely be back to try other dishes, especially their Jawa Mee and Lam Mee, which are a few of my most favourite Penang dishes but really hard to find in KL. The lady boss, Vivian was extremely friendly and accommodating. She recognizes most of her customers and knew that I was new there. Had a nice, short chat with her and found out that she was also a Penangite and that this is her family’s business with a few outlets around Klang Valley, which are all operated and managed by themselves. I have stumbled upon their KLCC outlet multiple times, which was always full house and now I understand why. She also recommend their new business, Bunga Kantan in Bangsar Village which also serves nyonya food on top of the usual Penang hawker cuisine. Overall, had a very pleasant experience dining here and would highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Penang cuisine.

We used to go the same branch in the curve, klcc suria, today we gave a try after many years, noticed the price has gone up hugely. But we browsed all the items, and decided to go for beef lobak set and seperate otak otak, instead of typical penang staple food like dry or soup noonles. As my husband's satisfying face and smiles say all clearly, that said, the beef dish was very tender, meaty, and flavourful, different than rendang. And the robak snd otak otak were good too! The staff is very friendly and attentive! We will come again for the same dishes! Highly recommended 👍

Three adults and a toddler had dinner at this mall eatery. We tried a few dishes. The char koay teow with duck egg was one of the best I've had! Flavourful, good wok-hei and came with slightly bigger prawns. The Penang Jawa Mee which I seldom eat was also delicious. It had plenty of ingredients and a gravy that's nicely balanced - neither too thick nor too watery. The fried rice was ordinary, while the Penang masala tea (no photo) lacked flavour and punch - had better ones elsewhere. Overall, portions are decent but prices are on the higher side — typical mall pricing.

The restaurant has a clean, nice environment with a lovely open space , comfortable and spacious. We ordered the sambal udang petai, sambal eggplant, and acar fish. The sambal udang petai and sambal eggplant were both tasty. The acar fish was okay, but the acar was a little too sour for my liking. Unfortunately, the fish itself was quite hard and served cold. It seemed like it had been fried earlier and reheated, which made the texture dry and tough. Overall, the service was friendly and good, and we had a pleasant dining experience.

The duck rempah chin and paku pakis kerabu prawn were amazing. Including the sambal prawn with petai. Char kway teow with crab meat was also very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

Bunga Kantan is closer to me than Little Penang in Suria KLCC. This place served a wider menu than Little Penang as it has a huge selection of Nyonya food. We ordered the usuals from the Little Penang menu and enjoyed the char kway teow, the appetizer platter and the prawn mee. ABC was also good but very sweet. The fruit in the rojak was probably slightly overripe for rojak. I like this location because parking is plentiful. Service was fine.

The food was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the Jiu Hoo Char! The desserts were exceptional too. I highly recommend the cendol, which is their signature dessert and the Red Ruby was equally refreshing and delicious. The overall dining experience was fantastic. The staff were warm, friendly and attentive, making my family feel very welcome throughout our visit. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Nyonya cuisine!

A better Nyonya food restaurant in Bangsar. Located on the L1 at Bangsar Village 2, parking is easy here. Itik rempah chin is such an amazing dish on it's own. The complexity of spices used and long hours of simmering result in this delicious dish. We also like the ikan bawal hitam sumbat sambal, fried brinjal, kerabu paku and the appetiser platter. Food here we felt more like homecook than a regular restaurant cooking. Will definitely go back again

The location is perfect with ample parking surrounding the location of the restaurant. It is also perfect for couples, big group of friends and families. I was there with my family on a Sunday night. Because of the varied taste buds of my family members, the variety of dishes offered in the menu helps😀. We had pucuk kerabu, vindaloo chicken, scotch eggs (love the texture), platter (good combi for starters), steam okra, sambal ikan sumbat (the sambal is so good!), acar fish (love the combi of sour, sweetness), debal curry.....and topping it off with nutmeg juice and desserts (cendol, red ruby, pulut hitam). Simply amazing experience with yummy, delicious, home cooked food. Each family member got his/her favourites here @ Bunga Kantan😊. Will be back!

We had a really scrumptious meal here. Everything was cooked to perfection. The pai tee starter was very tasty and crisp. We particularly liked the gulai ikan and assam prawn. It was so good we went again the next day. This time we tried the loh bak and the char koay teow. Really good. Highly recommend this place in terms of food, service and the ambience.

Had a wonderful family dinner at Bunga Kantan by Little Penang with a group of seven. The food was excellent, truly home cooked and authentic. For someone who really knows and appreciate real Penang flavours, it’s so comforting. Portions were also generous, making it great for sharing. Despite the full house, service was warm and efficient, which we appreciated. A very satisfying meal overall. We’ll definitely be back.
